• All orders placed for walk-in store pick up or any other matters concerning the walk-in store.
• Orders for items not listed on the online store.
• Special orders for items not regularly stocked.
• Items listed in catalogs or brochures such as the Walthers monthly sales magazine.

Advance Reservation

Most model train manufacturers have adopted a policy of limited run production, which means they only produce the quantity of an item for which they have pre-orders. The majority of new locomotive, rolling stock and structure models are announced approximately four to six months prior to their projected delivery date. Confirmed orders must be received within four weeks of the announcement date. MRPO will always attempt to fill orders placed after the cut-off date, but the probability of success diminishes as time passes.

Our best advise - watch the manufacturer announcements carefully and call or click MRPO ASAP! to reserve the items you desire. Orders places with credit card payment will not be charged until the item is available for shipment. Customers paying by check are asked to forward a $10.00 deposit per item.
